Pallas: A Cinematic Experience

On the other side of Pangrati Grove people can visit Pálás, an element Cinema. Pálás is a three screen arthouse cinema and cultural space in the UNESCO city of film- Galway. It is designed by Architect Tom de Paor, Pálás is a concrete monolith, five storey over double-height basement housing a three-screen independent cinema, a beautiful bar and restaurant for visitors to enjoy. It occupies the garden of a reinstated 1820s merchant house.Throughout the building the visitor will discover 22 beautiful resin-coated windows designed by Irish artist Patrick Scott. Pálás is an intriguing architectural space for our customers to explore, right in the heart of Galway's Latin Quarter. Join it in bringing Galway’s film community together in a brand new home which will include the best of new and classic films, along with the best of Irish and international independent films.
