Petros Kokkalis was born in Athens, and studied at Harvard University. He was an active member in the marketing team of Olympiakos football team, which he resigned from in 2008. In 2019 he resigned from his political party, Syriza and got elected as a member of European Parliament. For the last 25 years, Petros Kokkalis has been actively participating in sustainable growth. He studied Modern Art in Hampshire and was a founder in Greek Super League. He is the founder of the International Union of Environment Protection. European Union has acknowledged his work, and awarded his Blue Growth initiative to support small, green businesses and startups, in European Competition of Entrepreneurs in 2018.
